Anna Silverton’s finely worked vases and bowls are made of wheel thrown porcelain. She experiments with glazes varying in colour and texture. A combination of lustrously glossy or glowing matt finishes in white, yellow, cream, and grey dolomite glazes often feature, as do pieces in vibrant orange and jade green.

Anna Silverton trained in London at Camberwell School of Art and gained her MA at the Royal College of Art where she won a prestigious travel scholarship, used to visit Syracuse Everson Museum, USA. After completing her Master's degree Anna lived and worked on her craft in Syracuse, New York for three years.

Upon her return from America Anna set up a studio in Sydenham, London, from which she still works today.
