Jeweller Emily Collins' forms are simple yet have intricate, fine detailing. Their deliberately soft surface texture becomes apparent on closer inspection. Her influences include ancient stone carving and traditional Indian jewellery. She has developed a striking range of jewellery that uses a combination of fine and sterling silver. This means that a piece will have both the pure brilliant whiteness of fine silver as well as the strength and durability of sterling silver. All elements of her jewellery are handmade, so each piece is always slightly different to the next and therefore unique.
