Laurance Simon’s new collection of vessels celebrates the delicacy of the natural world, a curved handle reminiscent of tendrils or the intricacy of ferns and seeds. She weaves skill and imagination into a joyful ceramic tapestry of nature. Some of Simon’s work has an element of storytelling and borrows from the tradition of surrealism, often imbued with humour. Originally from France, Laurance has been working in London for the past 20 years, exhibiting widely in the UK and abroad.
